Johan de Ligt

After completing a Masters in Film and Television Studies at Utrecht University, Johan needed to leave the theoretical framework behind for a while. As a sound engineer he worked worldwide for many years on a variety of video, television and film productions, and eventually also started producing himself until he was a bit fed up with the world of television.

Together with Alle van der Wal he started Tasty Tales in 2013, first mainly as a 'passion project', which later became more serious. Now Johan also writes, he does some photography and produces social media content for companies in the hospitality sector, among others, having also written many columns for various media trade magazines in his television days.

Since 2014, Johan has been WSET Level 2 (International Wine License) certified.
